Tripleclicks Online Store Now Features A Live Customer Help Service

The TripleClicks online store recently added a live chat service so that customers can ask a TripleClicks service representative questions about products, ordering procedure, and other issues.

The live chat service is available Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. CST.

You can find the live chat feature on the left sidebar, except on the TripleClicks homepage. Once you have clicked through to a product page you will see the chat widget. There's also a direct link to the live chat in the Customer Care links in the page footer.

To activate the service, simply click the "Live Help" image in the sidebar to launch a new chat window. You will then be connected to a TripleClicks representative.

Hurrah! This is what I've been waiting for! After the success of their silver coin and bullion bar Pricebender auctions on the Tripleclicks website, SFI announced earlier this month that they are going start selling gold.

TripleClicks E-Commerce Associates (ECA) Program Unveiled!

At the beginning of February 2010 the E-Commerce Associates (ECA) Programme was launched by SFI as part of their http://tripleclicks.com online store.

ECA offers a platform for commercial sellers to sell their products on the Tripleclicks store. Up until now the store was only available for private sellers selling one off items, as in a "garage sale". Anybody wishing to sell multiple items of the same kind had to list each one separately.

Now, for business retailers all that has changed. TripleClicks will work with retailer to facilitate sales growth for their products by providing each of them with a fully customizable website store within Tripleclicks, complete with several different payment options for customers.

The ECA program is expected to bring thousands of new listings to TripleClicks from all over the world.

The sign up procedure is straightforward and ECA members can then upload their products free of charge. They simply pay a commission on the price of the goods they sell.

So how are all these ECAs going to get hooked up with TripleClicks? That's where SFI affiliates, come in! SFI affiliates will now be able to recruit ECAs and earn royalties on ALL of their TripleClicks sales for life!

Send Targeted Traffic To Your TripleClicks Listings & Boost Your Sales

Here's how you can increase the probability of selling your gear on TripleClicks or any other online garage sale or auction site:

Send targeted traffic to your listings.

If you are selling valuable stuff with a high profit margin, a small PPC campaign might be the way to go, but obviously you need to set up the campaign so that you don't spend more on clicks than you make per sale.

A PPC campaign would also be better where you are selling the same product line over and over again rather than a one-off item you want to clear out of your attic. That way, you can get the benefit of higher sales for lower PPC cost as you tweak and test your PPC campaign.

If you are selling off some items related to your business or hobby website, then write about your listing on your website and link across to it. That way, you will be sending targeted traffic to your listing.

You can also do this on your blog and why not set up a Squidoo lens as well. The more directed traffic you have heading towards your listing the sooner you will sell it.

There is one drawback to pointing multiple links to a single listing, however... When you sell the item the URL link will no longer be of much use and you will have to replace it with a link to another of your listings.

SOLUTION: USE A TRACKING SERVICE AND REPLACE ALL YOUR LINKS IN A SINGLE ACTION!

A professional link tracker such as the Viral URL link tracking service will save you time when you need to replace the item listing URL.

Instead of going back to all your sites and replacing the links one-by-one, you can simply replace the link ONCE on your link tracker.

TripleClicks Customer Care's Prompt Response

When you post an item for sale on TripleClicks it is first checked by a staff member before it goes live on the site. You receive a notification by email as soon as the item goes live. In my experience the process does not take very long. Yesterday, for example, I posted the Japanese Sushi Mahjong Set and received notification later the same day.

When I checked the listing, however, I noticed that most of the words were missing from the title. Just the first word of my intended title, "Japanese Sushi Mahjong Set", was showing.

So I sent a quick message to customer care and the matter was dealt with promptly, as you can see if you check the email exchange which I have pasted below.

Smooth Purchase Of Books On Alibris Via The TripleClicks Maxmalls Portal

Alibris is an online bookstore that stocks more than 60 million new, second hand, rare, collectible and out of print books as well as films, music.

Alibris is one of numerous stores that were featured on SFI's Maxmalls web portal until recently. Now Maxmalls has been integrated with the newer TripleClicks site, so I wanted to try it out.

Actually, this was my second visit to TripleClicks in search of Maxmall-featured stores. On my previous visit I couldn't work out how to find Maxmalls listings, although there is a panel on the right of TripleClicks browsing pages that specifically lists Maxmalls as one of the "narrow search" options:

Okay, so I went back to TripleClicks tonight and selected the "Books" department, then clicked on the "Maxmalls Merchants only" link to find a range of eight book, audiobook and magazine sellers, namely,

I clicked on Alibris and then purchased "Machiavelli in Hell," by Sebastian De Grazia. The crossover from TripleClicks to Alibris was very smooth as was the purchase.

Selling My Stuff On TripleClicks

I just made my first sale on SFI's TripleClicks!

I put a bargain-priced mahjong set on the site a few days ago and have just received notification that it is sold!

So, not only do I make a bit of money on the mahjong set, I also make a commission from SFI - and whenever my customer purchases anything else on Tripleclicks I'll earn commission.

What I want to do now is start selling a whole range of bargain-priced goods on TripleClicks with the short-term aim of selling enough gear in a month to cover my EA status with SFI in SFI commission alone (quite apart from the profit I'll make on sales of my own goods on TripleClicks).

I think SFI offers newbie affiliates a great way to build their online business, but please note that at the moment TripleClicks is not for commercial sellers. A commercial selling feature will be added later this year, I hear, so watch this space.

Japanese Mahjong Tiles Now On Tripleclicks!

Well, I finally did it!

I posted my first item for sale on http://www.tripleclicks.com ...

It's a Standard Japanese Mahjong set similar to the one in the photo above. I'll be posting a range of other Japan-related goods on the site throughout the rest of the month.

It is still early days for Tripleclicks, but I believe it is going to get bigger and bigger and become a genuine alternative to ebay. It has a lot going for it in terms of low costs for sellers, no time limits on listed items, security for customer and seller, and ease of use.

Tripleclicks is something I want to be involved with because I think it will help me sell more of my items on the Internet.

Also, by listing my items on Tripleclicks and then talking them up, I hope to drive traffic to the site via my Tripleclicks links.

Why?

Because when people sign up for the free service via my link I will receive commission every time they purchase something on Tripleclicks - for life!!

So maybe most people who follow my links won't buy my items. But if some of them join Tripleclicks, and buy and sell on the site, then I will be getting a steady flow of commissions, which I can have paid directly into my Paypal account.
